A Sense of Humor Is Important

Welcome...

Don't worry, this isn't another super-serious blog about the state of the real estate industry, the economy, or interest rates.

Instead, this is the chance for all of us to have a little fun at the expense of realtors.

Most of you have read "For Sale" ads either online or in the paper, and have no clue what realtors really mean. Is it a typo, did we mean to write that, or did we just run out of space?

So, here's the plan.

Whenever I come across a creative realtor word or phrase, I'll post it here. And, if you see anything that confuses you, just email it to me, and I'll post it.

Occasionally we will have a contest for different categories, such as "best made up word" or "worst use of the English Language."

And, since many of you consider realtors on the same level as lawyers and used car salesmen, realtor jokes are allowed.

Let's have fun!

My two favorite realtorTM typos:

1. duel vs. dual - I love the thought of dual shower heads fighting each other.
2. stainless steal appliances vs. steel - Did they steal the steel?
